D’oh! I’d uploaded these to flickr and forgot to post pics of them here….
Sooooo until I snap some new pics of the clothes *that I have been trying unsuccessfully to sew today* these will have to do for entertainment!
They aren’t good pics, but they’re better than nothing
PB Kat repainted… She needs a name since I think I am keeping her…

Blonde PB head (same face mold as PB Kat)

Triad Blonde
I have one of these left that I am contemplating actually doing some modification work on. I hate the fact that the eyebrow scowl is molded into the plastic. I may try sanding it down on the “spare”.

they look great Erica
I really don’t understand why you are always complaining about your painting skills
I always find it amazing how different the same facemold can look.
When I looked at the bigger pic of PB Kat, at first I thought she has a hell of a hang over. Might be the slightly upward angle – her eyes look puffed. Great effect, although I suspect it’s unintentional.
I love the lips!
The blonde PB looks very sweet. In the pic there’s a reflection that looks a little bit like teeth showing. Nice.
About that Triad headsculpt… I would love to see a modification. If it was possible and would look good, I might consider buying a Triad head myself. I’m not a big fan of the Babs grin, but the scowling faces of the Triad ladies aren’t my thing either. They might be nice for custom dolls only displayed, but no good for the kind of photo stories I usually do.
Great work! The last pictures remind me a bit on Kim Bassinger as Veronica Lake in LA Confidential.
Thanks Mick, Claudia & Ursula for your comments!
Ursula, I agree that kat has a bit of tired/worn look to her features. Her sculpt lends itself to the puffy (ugh look at that face in the mirror) look.
And yes, I too found the triad scowling face very off putting. Once I get some work done on the spare I’ll let you know how the make-over goes. Its not a bad face except for the scowl (and ok, the neck which makes it seem very squat on a CG post.
Claudia: I complain because I want to do better!
Aw, don’t listen to Claudia, we’re all very skilled complainers.
