All sorts of stuff: Mostly NDR

Ok, just to let y’all know I’m still alive and out here — if not firmly attached to the internet just yet! We’ve been busy (obviously) trying to get sorted and semi-settled etc.

I can now report that as of Friday we bought a car to tool around in and check out places and do things. It’s a nice car, a little 2001 Toyota Corolla (104k & in good condition overall), and it’s proving to be a real sweetheart when it comes to gas-mileage! Yay! (we were borrowing my adopted family’s spare car, a ford explorer and that thing was guzzling gas like no tomorrow!)

I’ve only driven on the wrong side of the road twice in the last month and a half which I think is pretty good, right>>>> ? And I did avoid the deer that bounded out in front of us–so extra good points for that too, yea?

Mostly we’ve just been looking at places and trying to find a house in our price range and budget (so many fixer-uppers that need so much more $$$ than we can afford to put in! *sigh* but we have hope!)

Anyway I have a couple of small 1/6-doll related things to post about but I’m still looking for a graphic program that I can use to edit the pics (which I haven’t taken yet).

I promise I’ll update the blog again soon, and with doll stuff! Hope the rest of you are playing with 1/6 stuff and having lots of fun!
