here’s a quick picture of the orange couch. Yea, I know its crap and you can see all the joins–but cut me some slack. It _was_ my first attempt and I didn’t know how I was going to do it until I had carpet adhesive all over me and stuck to _everything_.

I don’t think the couch is crap. It looks good. And for the little imperfections there are always possibilities to mask them – positing of other furniture and figures, the angle of photography or the editing.
Btw with me it’s usually coffee…
Hello! I like the sofa, it seems real. The color is very similar to the color of my couch in my house right. The carpet also seem authentic, I guess it’s a carpet of doll houses at 1:12. I have been wanting to see the scenery in a cartoon.

Thank you for your comments on the furniture. The carpet I got is part of a swap I did on a doll-board called doll divas. I believe that it is meant to be a large rug (maybe full room size) for a 1:12 scale doll house…However, it works well as a 1:6 area rug.
I think I wouldn’t mind a couch in that kind of burnt orange color either! Lucky you to have one!
