I did a little more painting today & came up with these two:
I am pleased that he at least looks like a guy!
I’m not sure what either of their names are, or what year. ( couldn’t get the color to show right but she’s more like a strawberry blonde).
Ok, so I decided that it was worth it to try to tweak her lips and make them a different red. I think it’s an improvement, though darker than I’d originally intended to use for her.

Oooh, I love the guy’s haircut! It lays perfectly. And the lips are a big improvement on your girl– her eyes really pop now. I don’t know how you paint eyelashes that thin! You’re really kicking ass this week! Yay you!

I have such terrible luck with guy hair that I thought I’d try it that way and see what happens.
The eyelashes really aren’t that thin (my fine brushes are all knackered) but they work for now. I really need to make an effort at painting them lighter (not black) so that the eye-makeup of the figures doesn’t look so heavy.
They look great. I really love the deeper red on her lips.
