It dawned on me the other night that I don’t actually have any photos of all my different roomsets in one place. Prior to that I hadn’t had any thought to the fact or that it might be handy to people who visit the blog.

This is your chance –you lurkers & regular readers :P — to speak out and tell me if you think I should either add a tab on the blog for that, or possibly make a section for them on my website (which has a planned re-vamp coming). If you have an opinion one way or the other please leave a comment on this post.  Also if there’s any additional information you’d want with the diorama/roomset info.

So?

Would you like to see my roomsets all put in one place? Possibly with information on how I made them or what I did to custom them?

Or…

Do you just want to continue to troll Flickr, My blog & various forums where I post them piecemeal?

Comments? Opinions?

  1. All in one place would be very helpful when it comes time for you to be Artist of [Undetermined Timeframe]!

  2. At the risk of making lots more work for you, I’d love to see your roomsets all in one place! While I am a huge flickr troll, it would be really cool to have all of your roomsets in one place, just to pore over whenever I visit your blog, ya know? With, like you said, maybe some notes on what you made, and what you customized– wouldn’t have to be term paper length explanations (though I would read & love it) but just the basics/stuff you found most interesting, or whatever. And if you have any long shots, those are always cool, if we could see how/where it was actually set up– I love behind the scenes stuff. For me, the more in depth/detailed/more! more! more! I can get of roomsets, especially kickass ones like yours, the better!

  3. All in one place will make in easier for readers. But recreating those could mean a lot of work. OR how about page containing links to photos and entries related to the roomset?

  4. I like the idea of them all in one place. With people becoming more of bloggers and using Flickr you don’t see websites being used a lot. I personally miss looking through a website for more in-depth pictures and explanations of how things are done. Oh and I agree with Smidge on the behind scenes stuff. I love them also.

  5. Yes, please! I would love to see your room sets. Looking at dioramas and room sets helps me figure out why my sets don’t look finished or just plain wrong.

  6. Altogether is a generous offer and very inviting. But wouldn’t it be a bit of a drag for you?

  7. Thanks folks for taking the time to comment. I’ll take it all on board when I start to work on the website again (which ought to be soon).

  8. Oh, I’d love to see them either in one spot or a blog post with links. The former would be easier, but you have to do the work so … whichever.

    Love your dioramas!

  9. Absolutely would love to have visibilty in one place. Yes, I realize that it is quite an undertaking but it would be MUCH appreciated! I love to get inspiration from other room sets. Any details you are willing to share about customizing is great too.

  10. Hellz yeah, I love dios !!!
