Not wanting to forget about the action figure girls in my repainting frenzy, I decided to go to work on some of the knock offs I’d gotten. I like the Midori headsculpt and IMO its one of the nicest of the CG heads out there.
These heads are seriously over-rooted with hair. I had to try to thin it out and event hen still decided to give them boil perms to get the hair to lie down flat.
#1 Brown eyes
#2 Blue eyes
Over all I’m happy with how they turned out. They’ll be going up for sale on Etsy this weekend since even though I like them I don’t have a use for them.

Both of these girls are amazingly beautiful– I want to say I like the brown eyed one better, but I’m still not sure. They both have your own personal style– you definitely can tell they’re yours.
Your dolls all… I’m not sure what it is– they all look like you talk. Or write. Or whatever. They just ARE. I wish I could explain it better– you just have created a world, and they are clearly from your world. All your dolls have just emotion and expression, a lot of depth in their eyes.
I’m still trying to think of a better way to explain this. That’ll have to do for now, lol. I just love them. They are so… alive isn’t the right word– lots of things are alive. It’s more than that. They’re just… personal. If that makes any sense. I don’t know, lol. You’re really in a groove these days! :heart:
Awwwww :blush: Thanks C! That’s got to be one of the all-time nicest things anyone’s ever said about my stuff! :wub: That’s such a warm fuzzy :happy:
And I think I kind of got the point that you were trying to get across!
::hugs::
The thinning out thing worked really well Erica! The brown eyed girl is my fav because I LOVE the colour of her lips. They both came out such stunners!
I love how each girl has their own look with just a change of color. Their faces are so pretty. You have a way with the paintbrush. I am honestly jealous. I know I need to practice more with painting but I know I will never get to you level of skill. I think I will just sit back and admire from afar for now.
