Not a lot to share, just some more in-progress pics. I know it’ll be hard to imagine exactly what I have planned….but this gives you something of an idea I guess? (as usual if you want to see the image full size click the white box at the bottom of it) :cheerful:
As you can see I took your advice & re-sized the table tops to make room available for a couch/sofa area. I still need to actually make a small couch (love-seat) to go there but I want to hold off on that until I get the walls painted to be sure that the fabric I use is a good match.
Annnnnnnnd…… Here you can see where I decided to go for it and add the seating area outside the front. Yea, it means a little more work (making an awning) but I’d have to have done stuff anyway since you’d see out the window from inside the cafe anyway!
And just for shits & giggles, here’s a shot (blurry) as seen through the kitchen door’s window:
I’m hoping to feel better tomorrow & to get started on painting the walls & the furniture as well as starting on the counters (I have plans!)

It looks good so far! Really starting to come together. I think you should just leave the tables as they are now with the *pretty, thin* table tops. LOL What you gonna do for the backdrop if you take a pic from the inside like you did?
Oooh, yay! This is looking sooo good. I really like how it’s set up inside, and I can’t wait to see it painted, I love the colors you picked. I’m glad you took the plunge and made an outdoor area too. This is going to give you soooo many great options for pictures and photostories. I’m always so inspired when I see all the great work you’ve done. Can’t wait to see what else you’re planning. And I hope you feel better!
Thanks guys! I’m glad you can see the potential of it at the moment! I’m feeling slightly overwhelmed with the amount of stuff to do to it yet.
“What you gonna do for the backdrop if you take a pic from the inside like you did?”
Yesterday I was giving it some thought & I think I’m going to make a hanging backdrop. After all, most of the “outdoor” scenes won’t be in sharp focus so a backdrop like used in theaters ought to work (maybe)

:cheerful: Me too! I figured I might as well go the whole way instead of ending up kicking myself later wondering why I didn’t do it!

Good!! Hopefully some of that inspiration will rub off and you’ll start making some roomsets tooooooooo!
Wow you’ve been busy! The tables are seriously cute and I think a better option than the bigger ones. It allows for more room and I love the seating area by the window so I’m glad to see it can comfortably fit in there. The outside area is very cute and glad you went for it. It will all so much depth to your pictures. You are so creative when it comes to planning out your scenes. Keep up the great work and can’t wait to see more updates!
