John & D7ana, I’m glad you both agree with me about the headsculpts. It’s always good to have company in your madness LOL!
I really should do a comparison pic with momoko’s body & the other dolls & action figures I have.

Another Momoko fan, I have more than I would ever have expected. Partly, it’s the cuteness of her face and partly, the clothes and accessories. Her body is frail considering her price. Sigh. As a Barbie collector, Momoko’s articulation is better than what I usually find, but I recognize Momoko’s limitation since I have also Ladies Mission, Girls Mission, and CY Girl figures.

I admire both your repaint and your rebody jobs.

Well, for $50 you get a head with crappy hair AND well detailed clothing 8D

You could always try selling the momoko body because when I used to collect Momomkos, there was always people looking for replacement momomko bodies to replace loose necks, stained feet, broken parts, etc.

But I agree the Momoko sculpt is really hard to paint a bad face up upon because it’s so versatile and cute…

yay, great to see the first entry on your list Erica. Been wondering about this figures for awhile and yes, the price point has been a deterring factor.
