Despite some delays I have managed to get a couple of decent shots of Momoko (She was named Sarah but now I’m not sure that that re-name fits her? Opinions?)

This is her before:
momoko-sarah-before

And now after:

momoko-3momoko-1

She’s had a complete re-root with volks hair (black) and a boil perm. It’s not the best re-paint I’ve ever done, but considering how rusty I am (and how I haven’t done one in months & months & months) I don’t feel too badly about it.

Comments anyone?

  1. Oh, wow, she’s beautiful! I think you did a great job on her repaint, and her hair is gooooorgeous! The blue eyes/black hair combo is stunning! (Of course, I may be partial to that, since it’s my combo as well, :D ) She has an exotic, almost vintage-y quality now. But, I think you’re right, she may not be a Sarah anymore. I think that definitely suited her before the makeover, but she’s so different now! Great job!

ps- Don’t know if you’ve checked your etsy convos, but I got the lemon bars yesterday. They are perfection! Thank you so much! (Further gushing in convo  )

  2. She’s got lovely stained-glass-like blue eyes. The near nude lip color suits her coloring, too. Makes her eyes look sharper and more vivid.

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. I love how the lips turned out! And I agree with D7ana, her eyes look sharper, I think it gives your girls more depth of character.

  4. Wonderful! She looks so much better. :-)

  5. C : Thanks! I think I agree she doesn’t look so much like a Sarah now. And I’m really glad you’re pleased with the lemon bars! :D I’m putting up more stuff this week with the sole intention of tempting you! :p
D7ana Thank you, I’m glad that downplaying the lip color worked out so well. I have to agree I think her eyes maybe pop out a bit more because of it.
Ursula :) I’m glad that this momoko now, at last has some definite character to her. Although I did have someone tell me that she no longer looks (or is recognizable) as a momoko! :straight:
RavenThank you for stopping by my blog & commenting! :) I’ve had a few chances to check out your blog (and photostories) via links from Ursula’s blogs. (I’m totally lost but slowly running the panels through google translate) ;)

  6. Oh, I would if I could, but my English is too bad for a blog in your language. I’m so sorry. :(

  7. Lovely. The name definitely suites! She looks stunning!
