I'd love to see a comparison post like that. It seems like the Momoko body is usually left out of the comparison shots, for whatever reason. I'm kind of surprised, I always thought their articulation was good, but I'm not sure what I based that on, lol. Photos, I guess. There's so much give and take when it comes to articulation. Wish there was just one perfect doll...

D7ana Her hair was a lovely mix...I just wish it had been more manageable. When it comes to doll /AF hair I really have very little patience and want it to behave--otherwise it (or the figure) goes (or gets stuffed at the back of the shelf).

I don't like it when my figures start getting the evil eye from myself...it usually means I need to either work on them or find them new homes (and seeing as Sarah the Momoko is a relatively new acquisition I figured modding /customizing her was the way to go.

C Momoko (all of them) have really lovely little headsculpts. I'll certainly post pics of Sarah as she goes along. I am currently toying with the idea of giving her a partial (maybe total) repaint. Not quite sure yet since I want folks to recognize her as a momoko doll....

My biggest (and really only) beef with them (and what makes me reluctant to buy more) is that they have such poorly articulated bodies.
It doesn't matter to a lot of doll collectors, but I since I'm more about range of motion & poseability than aesthetics it matters a bunch to me.

I probably should do a comparison post one day between the momoko body, the volks beauty body & a fashionista barbie body. Maybe that would be helpful for other folks?

*sigh* One day, Momoko, one day... Can't wait to see what you've done with her hair. Make sure you take lots of breaks to stretch-- don't want to get a re-rooting hump!
