Ah, I couldn’t help it.
I wiped both Abbey & Imogen’s faces. They didn’t work for me. Abbey looked like she’d gone crazy with mascara….and had seriously crooked eyes to boot! And Imogen…she just didn’t look good enough.
The good news is that I repainted Abbey and she looks WAAAAAY better!
The original Abbey’s face:

The face of the 2nd repaint attempt:

The current repaint (3rd) attempt:(a couple of picts)

Unfortunately for Imogen, she still doesn’t have a face.

Excellent Erica:)
Third time is a charm right:) She came out great:)
Great looking girl! The first Abbey to me always looked a bit desperate, now she’s really a cute girl from next door.
I once did freckles (on Nicky) and used a combination of drybrushing (it was more a kind of tender prodding than brushing) and a small brush with very hard bristles. I was very pleased with the outcome, although imo it looks not that good on photos…
What did you do?
Thanks Will!:) Thanks Ursula! :)<BR>
I’ve got to say I really like Abbey a lot better now, and it will probably be easier for me to use her more often in stories now too.

Ursula–what I did for freckles: I basically took the smallest round tipped brush I have (which at the moment is a 10/0–) and made up a wash of raw umber and burnt sienna. I made sure it was a fairly light wash (with some thicker mix to the side for darker freckles) and then….spent a long time dotting them on the doll head and body! LOL!
*I don’t think I remember seeing freckles on Nikki? Do you have a pic? *
I checked my pics – there’s none where you can see the freckles… when I said they don’t look that good on photos, I apparently meant they don’t look at all.
Abbey is teh hawtness…… XD~ Can’t stop the drooling. XD
