The paint brushes I'm looking for are general hobbyist brushes--anywhere between 18/0- - 20/0....but getting those here --in Coventry--and specifically in the UK is just about impossible. Frustration. Especially since I'm used to living in a city with 3 or 4 art supply shops where it was so easy to get them (and paint supplies). I really regret taking it for granted. Thanks guys! :)

Mizu: I haven’t ever used volks brushes. They were always too pricey IMO and without seeing one in person I wasn’t willing to drop that kind of money. I've long stopped importing brushes from Volks, since I'm put off by their high S&H. I'm just as concerned about brush quality as you are, but these low-cost, "Ashley SERIES A.77" brushes (size 000) do just as well, if not better than the Volks ones. Sure, there's no tracking number or insurance, but at that rate, you can afford to lose half the packages and still be ahead, LOL. Let me know what the max value is on a package to avoid that new Customs fee. I hear you all are being hit with a new per-box fee on shipments over some ridiculously low amount.
